Beit Sahour: Scores protest the Israeli attacks on Gaza PDF Print E-mail

At least 60 Palestinians and international supporters gathered on Tuesday night at the town plaza in Beit Sahour, located near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, to protest the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

{mosimage}The people carried a large Palestinian flag and lit candles. Speeches where made by locals and internationals calling for the immediate halt of the Israeli attacks. Today's protest was organized by the Alternative Information Center (AIC), a Palestinian Israeli NGO working for peace and justice in the Occupied Territories.

During the protest, Rami Al Meghari, the IMEMC correspondent in Gaza, spoke via telephone to the gathering, and gave the latest update from Gaza. The Israeli attacks that started on Saturday have so far killed 363 Palestinians. The latest deaths was three children, who were killed when Israeli jet fighters leveled their home in northern Gaza.
